Refund Policy

We want every customer to be happy with Text Editor. This Refund Policy explains how to request a refund and the cases in which a refund will be issued.
1. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
If you are a consumer based in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from a paid subscription within 14 days of the initial purchase, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, send a clear statement of withdrawal to slavchick11@gmail.com from the email used to purchase. We will refund the amount paid for the initial billing period within 14 days using the original payment method.
2. Refund window
Outside of the statutory withdrawal period, we will, at our discretion, issue a full refund within 14 days of the original or renewal charge if:
- You were charged in error or charged twice for the same period.
- The Service was unavailable to you due to a verified technical issue on our side.
- You were charged for a renewal you intended to cancel and you contacted us within 14 days of that charge.
3. How to request a refund
Email slavchick11@gmail.com from the email address used for the purchase and include:
- Your full name.
- The date and amount of the charge.
- The last 4 digits of the card used (if known) or the order/transaction ID.
- A short description of the reason.
We typically reply within 1 business day and process approved refunds within 5–10 business days. Depending on your bank, the funds may take additional time to appear on your statement.
4. Cancellation vs. refund
Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but does not, by itself, refund the current period. To request both, please mention so explicitly in your email.
5. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first — we are usually able to resolve issues faster than a card-issuer dispute. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may delay or limit our ability to assist.
